Directions from Greenville / Spartanburg, South CarolinaGREENVILLE & SPARTANBURG – approximately two to 2-1/2 hours. From Spartanburg, take I-26 north to I-40. Take I-40 west to Exit 27 (US 74, the Great Smoky Mountains Expressway). Take Highway 74 West 55 miles, (continue West on US 74 past Waynesville, Sylva and Dillsboro) do not get off any exits. After exit 64 (Bryson City) it will go from a 4 lane Highway to a 2 lane Highway. Stay in the left lane on HWY 74. Go 2 miles we are on the left. The drive from Spartanburg to Bryson City is approximately two hours, or 2-1/2 hours from Greenville.
